This makes leadership a not-so-easy discipline to follow. The books, tapes, workshops, and so on assure great things to make us efficient leaders. However management, the kind required for learning organizations, can not be sold over the counter. It is not about strategies and tricks. When we understand that it is about long-lasting individual development, filled with battles and stumbles, we'll have made one significant step forward.
